Gas was 75 cents a gallon
The unions were a very powerfull workforce.
a gallon of milk was around 80 cents
a loaf of bread was a quarter
There was also a little ole band of women that had tallent on loan from God. Maybe you all have heard of them. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
Minumim wage was 3.35 an hour.
We also elected a new president which would start an era that has yet to end. That President was Ronald Regan. Some of you might be asking what the **** Regan has to do with an age that has not ended yet. Well I'll tell you. Regan's VP was George H.W. Bush. Also for a breif time thanks to John Hinckley Jr. Bush was temporaily sworn in as president while Regan recovered from getting shot. Since 1980 we have had a Bush or a Clinton in the white house.
Now lets go to the year 2007.
We still have a Bush in the white house
Next year we may have another Clinton in the White house.
Gas is expected to hit 4.00 a gallon by the 1st of the year
A gallon of milk cost almost 4 dollars at Wal-Mart
A loaf of bread cost 1.25 at Wal=Mart
Minumim wage is now 6.15 an hour
That little band of women have really showed that they have individuly lots of tallent still to this very day.
I ask you this what is wrong with this picture......... I'll give you a hint The Band of women have nothing to do with whats wrong with this picture.

I do not know graphic design of giffing so was asking somebody to gif that Jack Daniels thing.
Also would like to alter an album cover that is out now and one comming out in March.
The both disc are Iced Earth Disc, The one that is out now is Framing Armageddon(Something Wicked Part 1) I would like to see both Bush and Chenny on that cover because that is what they are doing.
The disc due out in march is tenatively named Revelation Abomination(Something Wicked Part 2) That one I would like to see Bush giving the one finger salute because that is what he is. Have a great day.

Bill Clinton was a good president, in spite of the fact that the bush faction did everything they could do, to trip him up, every step of the way.

Just think where we would be now if W's daddy had won in 92 and then W took over!

Could Hillary undo the damage W has done to this country and the world?
I doubt if anyone can but I think she'd try and between her and Bill, MAYBE the constitution could survive.

I would not put it past W to declare marshall law and "postpone" the election indefinitely when he is convinced his hand-picked replacement will lose.

The other Dem candidates are lame, in comparison to the Clintons.
I would have liked to have seen Al Gore running though.

Of coarse bush has the "supreme" court, Diebold voting machines and swift boat liars in his corner so whoever follows in his neo-con footsteps could still win without resorting to marshall law.

We'll see what happens to the good old USA prettysoon!

Get this, it was just reported, on Rudy's news network (FOX) of all places, that soldiers who are wounded in Iraq and are, therefore, unable to complete their enlistments, are being required to return a proportional amount of their enlistment bonus cash!

They interviewed a private, who is now blind in one eye and suffering from major back injuries. He has been ordered to pay back $3000.00 or face the consequences.

Pretty sad state of affairs, I'd say!

I hate to throw cold water on all this "woe is me" caterwauling, but we're living in a golden age, despite a succession of dildoes as president and a congress filled with them, too.

Dubya won't declare martial law, and if he did he'd screw it up like everything else he's done as president. And anyone who is surprised by outrageous things if Hillary is elected doesn't remember Bill's eight years. Remember the travel office, the FBI files, the pardons, the private dicks extorting false affadavits from all the women swearing they never had sex with Bill? Hillary's fingerprints were all over that stuff.

Hillary is the same money grubber who deducted donations of their used underwear to charity. I'll be surprised if she doesn't have to weather some more money-grubbing scandals before the election.

Most of those allegations were disproven by the special prosecuter, long ago. The remainder of them have never gotten past the allegation stage but are kept alive by the FAKE OUTRAGE crowd.

Heck, the comedian Rush Limbaugh even implied again, recently, that Vince Foster had been murdered. Kenneth Starr, himself, said that was a suicide 10 years ago but the lie lives on, in the small minds of the ditto-heads!
Their lieing hero makes sure of it.

False accusations, repeated over and over again by right wing nut cases, like Shawn Hannity, will never end. That doesn't mean they are true. It just means they will continue to be repeated by people who haven't wised up, or that pretend to be ignorant, to the strategy that has been used, in an attempt to bring down Bill Clinton, and others.

Bush HAS been successful because the whole purpose of invading Iraq was to build new military bases there and that mission HAS been accomplished.
He WILL declare marshall law here, if it is the only way to keep the imperial presidency going.

I'm sure they would rather lie and cheat there way into maintaining power but if force is their only option, well....goodbye constitution!

Like Hitler used to say, "what luck for the rulers that men don't think." I'm not saying Hillary will turn it all around but to say she'd be the lesser of two evils, would be a gigantic understatement, imo!

In fact several other WW 2 vets are claiming the VA is treating them like bums asking for a handout....
